A first, basic Digital Flight Data Recorder for PSX. It records a snapshot of all parameters at the start, then every parameter as it changes, with its time of occurrence. Recordings can be played back, paused and resumed for analysis, and the data files can be shared with others for comment.
Download DFDR.jar (alpha 0.9.3)
This is far from a full data recorder that also records and reports events, but it is useful for capturing specific behaviour. By default the .dfdrdata files are stored next to the jar, named with the system timestamp.
Operating instructions
Because this is an alpha release there are a few caveats:
- Always create a situ file for the situation you want the recording to start from: load an existing situ, or save the current one with the Event Rcd button, then tick the "DFDR recording" box.
- When done, untick "DFDR recording".
- To play back, click "Playback DFDR file". The remaining functions are self explanatory.
