Instrumentation library
The instrumentation library codifies decades of research into the human machine interface. It is suited to data driven, rich user interfaces for operating and monitoring systems, and grew out of development at Inside Systems GmbH in the mid 1990s, where it conveyed information in new avionics products.
Monitoring applications are increasingly web based, because monitoring is by nature a networked process. With this library you can build interfaces showing gauges that give immediate visual cues, with no third party plugins, on the HTML5 standard. Clients include network operations centres around the world and astronomical observatories in several countries.
Astronomical library
In 2002 we developed a web based observatory management system that made extensive use of browser side calculations in JavaScript. This required ready availability of key astronomical data and calculations: positions, rise and set times, time zone conversions with automatic daylight saving handling, coordinate system conversions and more.
