Prohibited content and activities
The following statements pertain to all products and services offered by Inside Systems Pty Ltd.
Illegal activity
Customers may use Inside Systems hosting only for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of any country, federal, state or local regulation is prohibited. Child pornography is strictly prohibited, as is housing copyrighted material to which the customer does not hold the copyright or an appropriate license. Using Inside Systems Pty Ltd servers or network to conspire to commit, or to support the commission of, illegal activities is forbidden.
Hacking
Websites dedicated to the discussion of hacking activities or the distribution of hacking tools are prohibited. Using Inside Systems Pty Ltd's computer systems or network to access any system, service or network without the owner's consent is expressly forbidden.
Service interruptions
Any activity which causes service interruptions to Inside Systems Pty Ltd's network or servers, or to any outside network, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, denial of service attacks or other maliciously configured software.
Anonymous proxies
Anonymous proxies are easily abused and often have a negative impact on the servers and networks they are connected to. They are prohibited on Inside Systems Pty Ltd's network and servers.
Spamming
The customer agrees not to host content that advocates, sells or in any way makes available tools or methods to send unsolicited email or usenet postings (spam), not to use Inside Systems Pty Ltd servers for relaying unsolicited email or usenet postings, and not to use unsolicited email or usenet postings to advertise a site hosted at Inside Systems Pty Ltd. Any complaint we receive about a violation of this or the preceding two points is taken very seriously and results in immediate account cancellation without refund.
Personal information harvesting
Collecting or using email addresses, screen names or other personal identifiers without the consent of the person identified, including phishing, internet scamming, password robbery, spidering and harvesting, is prohibited.
Blacklisting
If Inside Systems Pty Ltd IP numbers assigned to your account are listed on an abuse database or blacklist such as Spamhaus, you are in violation of this policy. Inside Systems Pty Ltd may take reasonable action to protect its IP numbers, including suspension or termination of your service, regardless of whether the listing resulted from your actions.
Investment sites
FOREX, e-gold exchange and similar sites are prohibited.
Spoofing and impersonation
Using the Inside Systems Pty Ltd network to impersonate another person or entity, by email, internet forum or any other means, is strictly prohibited. This includes spoofing email or network packet headers, whether or not done for malicious purposes.
Spamdexing
The customer agrees not to engage in black hat SEO, spamdexing or so called scraper sites.
Retaliation
Any conduct likely to result in retaliation against Inside Systems Pty Ltd's network or website, or its employees, officers or agents, including behaviour that results in any server becoming the target of a denial of service attack, is prohibited.
Liability
Inside Systems Pty Ltd's liability for damages resulting from illegal activities (hacking, downtime due to hacking or denial of service) is limited to best effort attempts to restore service as soon as possible. These efforts are undertaken at no cost to the customer. Customers are expected to maintain their own offline backups of data hosted on Inside Systems Pty Ltd's servers. Where Inside Systems Pty Ltd does not own the servers but manages or operates them on behalf of the customer, the customer is responsible for all recovery costs.
Bandwidth
Inside Systems Pty Ltd's services are fundamentally not bandwidth limited. Should a single service experience traffic that substantially slows other services, Inside Systems Pty Ltd reserves the right to shape network traffic so that all clients retain equal access to low latency, high throughput connectivity.
